	<title>Sintek grunt in full armor</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/239115/239115_1154974514_small.jpg"><br><br>This is the fully armored version of the Sintek grunt.<br />
The armor shows some of the details of the uniform underneath (the game includes a difficulty system that will add armor to a character depending on your abilities as a player).<br />
The proportions are off due to the fact that it is to be modeled on a HL2 skeleton (shorter legs, long arms), which made it a bit more challenging to make him look heroic.<br />
I added flashing lights on the shoulder pads to show that the Sintek grunt is primarily a police force (controlled by the evil Elexis).<br />
In the rendering I tried to show the color spec as well as texture and reflectivity.<br />

	<title>Sintek officer-portrait</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/239115/239115_1155160050_small.jpg"><br><br>Chiaroscuro portrait of a Sintek grunt done for Sin Episode2 (Ritual Entertainment) that I did to convey the feel of the new enemy characters.<br />
Although it is based in the future I wanted the characters to have a more classical napoleonien look and attitude.<br />
I started with a simple line drawing, worked my values first and then added the colors and textural elements afterwards, mostly using the salt and chalk brush in Painter.<br />
